PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Present - President of the real property appraisal firm operating as ARA - McQuaid & Associates completing consulting and appraisal assignments on all types of properties including residential, vacant land, recreational, cottage developments, multiple residential, commercial, industrial, inn & motel, wharf and other special purpose properties.

2007 - 2009: Senior Partner in the real property appraisal firm ARA - McQuaid McEwen & Associates. completing appraisal assignments on all types of properties.

1994 - Senior Partner in the real property appraisal firm McQuaid Ellis & Associates. completing appraisal assignments on all types of properties.

1991 - Employed by Parker Stokes & Associates as a property appraiser. During employment the appraiser completed appraisal assignments on a wide variety of property types.

1983 - 1991 - Assistant Director/Chief Assessor Operations Systems Province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) - Real Property Records Division. While employed by the Province the appraiser held positions of Property Assessor (Residential and Commercial), Assessment Coordinator, Chief Assessor of Operations / Systems and Assistant Director.
